This manual is intended ONLY for those who want to use the FREE Open Source Skipper's Mate software, with other freely-available Open Source software from the web, to build their own Skipper's Mate system. If you just want to get going, we recommend the downloadable ISO version. We hope it contains the details you will need to create your own system, with hardware you source yourself. However, this is Open Source and, since the software is entirely free for you to use, compile or enhance, the documentation is as up to date as possible but not necessarily fully up to date.
